The day that this article and video were posted, several of my senior students had mentioned how they have injuries but play through them, regardless of consequences. I saw the opportunity to discuss their thought processes and to stress the importance of being aware of the signs of concussion. This video grabbed all 25 students' attention and the discussion that followed was <i>substantive</i> and <i>productive</i>. I do believe there were students who saw past their myopic feelings and considered how important it was to take concussions seriously.
