I did notice the gorilla, but of course I was expecting a gorilla. The curtain change was obvious as well, but I didn't notice the player leaving the game. I might not have noticed the player because I was so busy noticing that the gorilla's behavior was so similar to that from the original gorilla video and wondering why the cheesy chroma-keyd curtain was changing color.

ReplyDeleteAwesome. Unlike Phil, I missed the curtain change AND the player leaving the game because of watching the gorilla. Effective demonstration of selective attention!
